Kai Tyler, also known as Kai "Verse" Tyler is a well known American music executive who has also gone by the names "Cloth" or "Verse". He was born on August 8,1980 in Atlanta, GA and raised in Newark, New Jersey . Beside being a musician, Kai Tyler is also famous for being the founder of The Luxury Group. Kai Tyler's first experience in music came as a saxophone player. He would study and play Kenny G's Duotones ; that passion matured and by the eighth grade he started a DJ collective with DJ Naim . During his teenage years he was fortunate to have relationships that allowed him to meet Sean "Puffy" Combs and spend summers at the Bad Boy Records headquarters. In 2011 Kai brokered a deal with with 2K and Cyhi The Prince for his single "Sideways" he then went on to develop the 2K Beats division and consulted gaming giant Take Two. Till now, his music has been apart more than 15 million records being sold .
